Minnesota Mother Fights Back After Church Bans Her Autistic Son

In the town of Bertha, Minnesota, a battle has been brewing in the month of May, over how the Church of St. Joseph has banned a 13-year-old autistic boy from being in the church during Sunday Mass. Church leaders obtained a restraining order to keep Adam away from the church. Church leaders say that Adam's behavior is erratic and disruptive and that it threatens the safety of other parishioners. Adam's mother, Carol, has violated the restraining order and is due in court on June 2nd.

That is just a summarized version of the story,  I have a few opinions on the matter.....one it is in clear violation of the 1st Ammendment, for denying him the right to come to church, which states freedom of religion, which includes what religion and where he can go to church. My second thought is according to Mark Chapter 10 versus 13-21...........

And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them:  and his disciples rebuked those that brought them. But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children tto come nto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. And he took them up in his arms, put  his hands upon them, and blessed them. And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do no kill, Do not steal, Do not bear fals witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother. And he answered and said untio hi,, Master, all these have i observed from my youth. Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasre in heaven: and come, take up the cross and follow me.

So basically to sum that up....Adam should be allowed in the church so he shall receive the kingdom of God and those that try to stop him shall be judged..not by peers or by the nation...but by the Lord Himself. We ourselves as God's children are not to judge for we will be judge one day....and that day may be very soon.
